OVERVIEW OF PRODUCT

The Power Booster Supply (PBS) is an authorized UL 864, 10th Edition power supply. It is a supervised, filtered-regulated 24 Vdc device that can be easily configured to provide auxiliary power for Mass Notification/Emergency Communication (MNEC), as well as life safety applications. Additional notification appliance circuits (NACs) can also be provided by the PBS.

The PBS has the necessary circuitry to monitor and charge internal or external batteries. It is made of steel and can accommodate up to two 10 ampere-hour batteries. The BPS has four Class B (convertible to two Class A) NACs. These can be activated in one or two groups from the PBS's unique dual input circuits.

The PBS is available in two models, 6.5 or 10 amperes. Each output circuit can handle a maximum of three amperes, and the total current draw should not exceed the device's rating.
