An optional stainless steel surface housing is available to increase the flexibility of the unit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e Operating at 12 or 24Vdc, the shearlock operates with an intial in-rush current to ensure the armature is pulled up and located in it's locked position.
