It meets NFPA 720:2009 requirements and can be easily tested by spraying canned CO gas into the detector while in RealTest mode. The detector will alarm within seconds, indicating successful gas entry.

With 24/7 central station monitoring, the CO1224TR provides reliable protection against the harmful effects of CO gas. It is designed for system operation and is fully listed to UL 2075. The detector also features a code-required trouble relay that sends a sensor failure or end-of-life signal to the control panel and central station. SEMS-type terminal Philips head screws allow for quick and easy wiring connections and code-required supervision.

The CO1224TR detector has a low current draw and can operate on most industry security and fire alarm control panels, eliminating the need for extra power supplies or expensive panels. It has a 12/24 VDC power supply and a 10-year end-of-life timer.
