Apollo fire detection ranges we stock
Apollo Fire Detectors Ltd is a British manufacturer based in Havant, Hampshire. Its ranges cover addressable, conventional and wireless systems.
Apollo Soteria
Next-generation addressable detectors with PureLight optical sensing and CoreProtocol, including the Soteria optical smoke detector, Soteria multi-sensor detector, Soteria heat detector with isolator and Soteria Dimension optical smoke detector.
Apollo XP95
The long-established analogue addressable range: the XP95 optical smoke detector, XP95 heat detector (A2S), XP95 multi-sensor detector and bases such as the XP95 isolating sounder base. Intrinsically safe (I.S.) versions are also available.
Apollo Discovery
Addressable detectors with five selectable response modes: the Discovery optical smoke detector, Discovery heat detector, Discovery multi-sensor detector and Discovery sounder VID base, plus SIL2 and marine versions.
Apollo Series 65, Orbis and AlarmSense
Conventional detectors for zoned systems on small and medium sites. Pair the Series 65 optical smoke detector or Series 65 heat detector (A1R) with a Series 65 base, or choose the Orbis optical smoke detector or two-wire AlarmSense optical smoke detector.
Apollo XPander and REACH
Hybrid wireless ranges that connect radio devices to a hard-wired Apollo loop. Browse Apollo XPander addressable, starting with the XPander diversity loop interface module, or the REACH XP95 loop interface module.
Apollo manual call points
The Apollo Intelligent Manual Call Point (SA5900-908APO) works with Apollo panels using the XP95, Discovery and CoreProtocol protocols, and also comes in white, yellow, blue and green. We also stock Discovery isolating call points (including outdoor, marine and SIL2 versions), the XPander wireless call point and the SC2900 conventional call point. Compare every brand in manual call points.
Apollo protocol and panel compatibility
Soteria, Discovery and XP95 devices use the Apollo digital protocol, so they must connect to a panel that supports it. Soteria devices use CoreProtocol and, as listed on our Soteria product pages, are also compatible with Discovery systems. Series 65, Orbis and AlarmSense detectors are conventional and wire to zones rather than an addressable loop. Always check the panel manufacturer's compatibility list, and see our fire alarm panels for new systems.

Apollo fire detectors FAQs
Are Apollo fire detectors made in the UK?
Yes. Apollo Fire Detectors Ltd designs and manufactures its detectors in Havant, Hampshire, and is part of the Halma group.
What is the difference between Apollo XP95, Discovery and Soteria?
All three are addressable ranges using the Apollo protocol. XP95 is the established range; Discovery adds five selectable response modes; Soteria uses CoreProtocol and PureLight optical technology.
Which call point replaces the Apollo XP95 55100-905APO?
The Apollo Intelligent Manual Call Point SA5900-908APO, which works on XP95, Discovery and CoreProtocol systems.
Are Apollo smoke detectors addressable or conventional?
Both. Soteria, Discovery and XP95 are addressable, while Series 65, Orbis and AlarmSense are conventional.
Do Apollo detectors come with a base?
Most Apollo detector heads are sold without a base, so check the compatible base listed on each product page. Some XPander products are supplied with a base.
