Siemens Fire Detection Systems

Siemens is a global technology company, and its Cerberus range is used for fire detection on commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure sites. Siemens detectors are known for their false-alarm immunity in demanding environments such as kitchens, plant rooms and car parks.

JEM lists the Cerberus range in a number of product groups:

• Fire control panels, including Cerberus FIT conventional, Cerberus 360 and Cerberus PRO addressable panels
• Aspirating, linear beam, flame and wireless SWING detectors, with testers and accessories
• Addressable detector bases, surface base attachments and sealing or heating elements for humid environments
• Sounders, voice sounders and sounder beacons, including wall-mounted units and sounder interbases that fit into a detector base
• Manual call points with resettable or glass elements, plus protective covers, spare keys and backboxes
• Alarm remote indicators, including versions for explosion-hazard areas
• Line isolators, line connection sets and loop interface modules
• Licence keys that enable remote access and BACnet integration

Cerberus devices work as part of a complete Siemens system, so compatibility matters. Before you order, check the full part number against your panel and loop protocol, and confirm whether a product needs a separate base (many sounders and beacons are supplied with no base) or is sold as a legacy item. Remember that the colour, housing and LED options are separate part numbers.
