Axis Communications

Axis Communications is a Swedish network video company, known for introducing the network camera and for its IP-based surveillance, access control and audio products. This collection lists the Axis range available from JEM Systems UK, around 300 products.

Much of the range is the hardware that surrounds a camera installation: wall, ceiling, corner, parapet and pole mounts, pendant kits, extension columns, conduit adapters, junction boxes, weather covers and outdoor surveillance cabinets. You will also find network I/O relay modules, security relays, SFP fibre modules, Ethernet surge protectors, PoE midspans and extenders, RJ45 connectors, camera cables and lenses.

You will also find a wide range of AXIS network cameras, including fixed dome, bullet, PTZ, thermal and panoramic models in the M, P and Q series, as well as network video intercoms, door controllers and audio products.

When choosing Axis accessories, consider the following:

• Compatibility: mounts, covers and pendant kits are designed for specific camera series, so check the part number against your camera model.
• Environment: look at the indoor or outdoor rating, IP and IK ratings and corrosion resistance for exposed locations.
• Power and connectivity: confirm PoE class, cable type and connector requirements before ordering extenders, midspans or cables.
• Fixing method: check the pole diameter, thread type or conduit size where relevant.
