Choosing a Firechief extinguisher
Start with the fire risk assessment. Water and foam suit Class A fires involving wood, paper and textiles, foam also covers flammable liquids, CO2 is used around electrical equipment, and Lith-Ex is designed for areas where lithium-ion batteries are charged or stored. Check the fire rating on each product page, then add the matching ID sign and a stand, bracket or cabinet.

Firechief FAQs
What is a Firechief Lith-Ex extinguisher?
Lith-Ex is Firechief's extinguisher for lithium-ion battery fires in phones, laptops, power tools, e-bikes and e-scooters. It cools the battery and forms a thermal barrier to help stop fire spreading. We stock 500ml to 25 litre sizes.
Are Firechief PureSafe extinguishers PFAS-free?
Yes. PureSafe extinguishers use extinguishants that do not contain PFAS. We stock PureSafe fluorine free foam in 2, 6 and 9 litres and watermist in 2, 3, 6 and 9 litres.
Which Firechief fire blanket size do I need?
A 1 x 1m or 1.2 x 1.2m blanket suits most small kitchens, while 1.2 x 1.8m and 1.8 x 1.8m blankets give more coverage in commercial kitchens. For battery risks, choose LithShield.
