Commander Fire Extinguishers, Cabinets and Site Safety Equipment

Commander is CheckFire's fire protection brand, covering portable extinguishers and the mounting, storage and alarm equipment that goes with them. The extinguisher range spans ABC powder in 1kg, 2kg, 3kg, 4kg, 6kg and 9kg, CO2 in a 2kg squat body and 5kg, plain water in 6 and 9 litre, 3 litre water with additive, 6 litre wet chemical for cooking oil risks, and fluorine free foam in 2 and 3 litre. A 1.2m x 1.2m Commander fire blanket completes the manual firefighting line. Portable extinguishers of this type are specified against BS EN 3, and fire blankets against BS EN 1869.

Mounting and storage is well covered, with single, double and triple extinguisher stands, small and large stand inserts, and a cabinet range running from single and extended single through double cabinets in red, blue, green and yellow, key locking versions, vehicle cabinets sized for 6kg and 9 to 12kg units, and dedicated cabinets for lithium-ion battery extinguishers. Hose reels come in 19mm and 25mm bore at 30m, in fixed or swinging and manual or automatic configurations.

Commander also makes site alarms, including single site and wireless site alarm units sold individually or in bundles of two, four and six, plus contact alarms. We stock Commander servicing spares as well, covering headcap and hose O rings, valve assemblies, base skirts and wet chemical and Envirofoam refill packs.
