Interlinked Smoke Alarms

Interlinked smoke alarms are connected so that when one alarm detects a fire, every alarm in the property sounds. This range covers radio-interlinked alarms, including Aico RadioLINK+, Hispec RF PRO, FireHawk RF-LINK, Honeywell Home, Lumi-Plugin and Wisualarm, plus hard-wired interconnectable mains alarms, with heat alarms included for kitchens, where a smoke alarm is prone to false alarms. Radio and wired interlink systems from different manufacturers generally do not work together, so match new alarms to the system already installed. In Scotland, homes have had to have interlinked smoke and heat alarms since February 2022; our BS 5839-6 guide explains domestic alarm grades and categories.
