Gent system and compatibility notes

S-Quad detectors, S-Cubed sounders and Vigilon call points are analogue addressable loop devices designed for Gent Vigilon systems. They use Gent's own protocol, so they are not intended for other manufacturers' panels.
ES Detect devices are conventional and connect to a conventional (zoned) fire panel. Choose the base with or without a diode to suit the panel's requirements.
Work on fire detection and alarm systems should be carried out by a competent person in line with BS 5839-1.
