Access Controllers

Door controllers and control panels for access control systems, from single-door units to networked multi-door and IP controllers. The range includes controllers and panels from TDSi, Honeywell, AXIS, Acre (Vanderbilt) and other makers, with and without power supplies and enclosures.

Choosing an access controller

• Number of doors: match the controller to the number of readers and doors it must manage, and allow for future expansion.
• Connectivity: IP and TCP/IP controllers connect over your network to management software; check software compatibility with your chosen readers.
• Power and housing: some controllers come as boards only, so check whether a power supply and metal case are included; see power supplies.
• Readers: confirm the reader protocol, usually Wiegand or OSDP, from the data sheet.
