Evacuation chairs help move people with reduced mobility down (and, with some models, up) stairs during an emergency evacuation. We stock chairs from Evac+Chair and CheckFire Exitmaster, from lightweight single-operator models to two-person chairs for spiral and narrow stairs.

Choosing an evacuation chair
Base the choice on your fire risk assessment and personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPs): the stairs (width, turns, direction of travel), the passenger weight and the number of trained operators available. Operators must be trained to use the chair safely, and chairs should be inspected and serviced in line with the manufacturer's instructions.
