In 2009, Bob Ward – a fire safety consultant, and retired firefighter from the Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service – faced a professional challenge: how can properties install essential but often unsightly fire safety systems while keeping the ceiling free of clutter?

Solution invented. This sparked a lightbulb moment – literally.

Bob invented Lumi-Plugin® to prioritise and streamline fire safety in properties in a way that looks sleek and stylish.
