The HomeControl+ app
HomeControl+ was the Pyronix app for arming, disarming and receiving alerts from an Enforcer system on a smartphone. Pyronix has since replaced it with HomeControl2.0, the app to use on new installations. The app connects to the panel through PyronixCloud, which Pyronix sells as an annual subscription.
How to choose a Pyronix alarm
- Homes and small offices: start with an Enforcer kit. Choose Kit 2 for keyfob control, Arming Station Kit 1 for a keypad and external sounder module, or the Tablet Kit for control from the supplied Android tablet.
- Larger or higher-risk sites: look at the Grade 3 Enforcer X 280 or Euro 280.
- Existing wired systems: the Euro Hybrid Kit 2 adds 32 wireless zones to a Euro panel, and the UR2-WE universal wireless expander links Pyronix wireless devices to any wired panel with an arm/disarm output.
- Check compatibility: many accessories are panel-specific. For example, the DIGI-4G module suits Enforcer and Euro 76, while the COMM-4G suits Enforcer X.
