Videx GSM intercoms
4G GSM audio kits in flush and surface versions from 1 to 12 buttons, with or without codelock, such as the 2 Button VR 4K Flush 4G GSM Audio Kit with Codelock. GSM Cloud Platform subscriptions and 4G GSM modules are also available.
Videx panels and kits
- 4000 Series: modular audio and video kits such as the 4000 Series Audio Kit with Code Lock, plus codelock, proximity reader, speaker and touch-free button modules and rainshields.
- 8000 Series: call button, speaker, digital and information modules with flush and surface boxes and rain shields.
- Vandal-resistant panels: audio VR flush panels from 1 to 19 buttons with 136 or 138 (VX2200) amplifiers, add-on codelocks and readers, and stainless steel back boxes.
- Video kits: 2-wire video kits with codelock, and the ERA 2-wire video kit with 6788 7-inch hands-free monitor.
Multi-apartment systems
VX2200 digital audio and video modules, audiophones, control cabinets and the VX2200 Kristallo colour video monitor, plus VX2300 door control units, entrance switchers and the VX2300 PSU for systems up to 100 apartments.
Handsets and access control
Replacement handsets include the 3000 Series 5 Button Audiophone. For access control there are standalone keypads such as the surface keypad and prox reader for up to 1,000 users, EM and MIFARE readers, fobs and cards, WS4 readers, door controllers, exit buttons and drop key fireman switches.
Choosing a Videx system
- Wired or GSM: GSM intercoms call residents' phones over the mobile network, which avoids running cable to each property. Wired systems use a handset or monitor inside.
- Audio or video: video lets residents see the caller before opening the door.
- Replacements: match handsets and modules to the existing system series.

Yes. GSM intercoms need an active SIM card from a network with a good signal at the entrance.
Can I replace an old Videx handset?
Usually, yes. Identify the existing system and handset model first, because digital VX2200 systems and analogue systems use different handsets.
