The SA5900-908APO is the red Apollo intelligent manual call point, used to manually initiate an alarm signal on the fire detection system. It is the standard red XP95 call point for Apollo loops: compatible with XP95, Discovery and CoreProtocol, certified to EN 54-11 and EN 54-17, and fitted with a built-in isolator. An orange version for smoke vent control is also available as the orange SA5900-907APO smoke vent call point.

XP95 call point FAQs
Which panels is the XP95 call point compatible with?
Addressable fire alarm panels that support the Apollo XP95 or Discovery protocol, or CoreProtocol. It will not work on a loop running a different protocol, such as Hochiki ESP, so check the panel manufacturer's compatibility list before ordering.
Does the SA5900-908APO replace the 55100-905APO XP95 manual call point?
Yes. The earlier Apollo 55100-905APO XP95 manual call point has been replaced by the SA5900-908APO, which is compatible with XP95 and Discovery and also with CoreProtocol.
Does this call point have a built-in isolator?
Yes. It has a built-in isolator and is certified to EN 54-17 (short-circuit isolators) as well as EN 54-11 (manual call points).

Apollo XP95 call point range
The SA5900 intelligent manual call points work on XP95, Discovery and CoreProtocol loops; the I.S. version works on XP95 and Discovery. Only red should be used to raise a fire alarm: the other colours are for non-fire functions.
