Firechief carries one of the broadest fire safety catalogues available, with extinguishers at its heart. ABC dry powder runs from 600g aerosol and 800g wire bracket units through 1kg, 2kg, 3kg, 6kg and 9kg in the XTR, CTX and Power Plus ranges, with stainless steel bodies in the ELITE line. CO2 is offered in 2kg and 5kg up to a 30kg wheeled unit, water in 6 and 9 litre, and the PureSafe range covers fluorine free foam and watermist in 3, 6 and 9 litre. Lith-Ex G2 in 1 and 2 litre addresses lithium-ion battery fires, and APS automatic dry powder units from 1kg to 10kg protect unattended risks. Portable extinguishers of this type are made to BS EN 3.
Fire blankets come in 1 x 1m, 1.2 x 1.2m and 1.2 x 1.8m in soft and rigid cases, the sizes covered by BS EN 1869, alongside the LithShield 1.55 x 1.55m battery blanket and hot works welding blankets. Mounting and storage takes in flat-pack tubular and moulded stands, single and double cabinets with or without keybox, trolleys, transport brackets, and breathing apparatus and escape equipment cabinets.
The catalogue also reaches into fire door retainers and closers such as Agrippa and Conquest, STI call point stoppers and anti-theft alarms, photoluminescent and stainless steel extinguisher ID and fire exit signage, plus hydrant and standpipe equipment.
