Cameo Systems Disabled Refuge, Fire Telephone and Toilet Alarm Equipment
Cameo Systems specialises in emergency voice communication rather than detection, covering the outstations, control panels and interfaces needed for refuge, fire telephone and accessible toilet alarm systems. BS 5839-9 is the standard that defines these systems, with Type A fire telephone outstations for fire service use and Type B outstations at disabled refuge points. Cameo builds both: Type A telephones in red, stainless steel and IP65 rated versions, flush or surface mount, and Type B refuge outstations in green hands free, stainless steel, IP65 and weather resistant IP33 forms.
Where one position needs both functions, the combined CRT outstations pair a refuge unit and a fire telephone on a single plate, in green with red, green with stainless, stainless with red and all stainless finishes. Every outstation comes in radial wired and loop wired versions with matching back boxes, and the loop wired boxes include a short circuit isolator.
Control is handled by the Orbital range, running from RS2 two line panels through RS4, RS8, RS16 and RS32 systems with OLED display and batteries fitted, in flush or surface mount and radial or loop wired builds. Accessible toilet alarms are covered by the HARK and HARK+ kits in white PVC and stainless steel, with separate pull cord units, power supply and overdoor indicators, one way toilet alarm interfaces and an eight way input board.
