• Non-corrosive fittings – Ellesmere 4ft, 5ft and 6ft IP65 LED fittings with adjustable wattage.

Choosing BLE emergency lighting

• Location – use IP65 bulkheads or amenity lights outdoors and in damp areas, and recessed fittings where a flush finish is wanted.
• Self test – self-test fittings run the routine tests automatically, cutting the time spent on manual checks.
• Sensors – microwave and photocell versions switch or dim the normal lighting to save energy.
• Exit signage – choose the arrow legend that points along the escape route, and a size that can be read at the viewing distance.
• Testing – BS 5266-1 recommends a monthly functional test and an annual full-duration test of emergency lighting.
