Global Fire Equipment (GFE) manufactures addressable and conventional fire alarm systems, from compact single-loop panels to networked multi-loop installations. We stock GFE control panels, loop cards, ZEOS detectors, VALKYRIE and VULCAN 2 sounders, call points and the software and spares that support them.

GFE products we stock

• Addressable panels – GEKKO 2-loop and GEKKO 0-loop panels, OCTO+ 2-loop and 4-loop panels and the non-expandable G-ONE 1-loop panel, several in black, plus Chameleon repeater panels.
• Loop and network cards – Chameleon 1 to 4-loop cards for GEKKO, OCTO+ and NODE+ panels, RS422 network cards, an RS232 interface, an OWL graphical interface card and replacement main PCBs, covers and printer assemblies.
• Conventional panels – ORION 2, 4 and 8-zone conventional panels, an ORION repeater, a replacement PSU PCB and the ORION BCM 24V EN54 power supply.
• ZEOS detectors – ZEOS addressable optical smoke, heat and multisensor detectors, conventional smoke, heat and multisensor versions, standard, deep and diode bases, dust covers and the ZEOS portable device programmer.
• Sounders and beacons – VALKYRIE wall sounders, beacons and sounder beacons (conventional and addressable, including IP65), VULCAN 2 base sounders and beacons, and VOX voice sounders.
• Call points and ancillaries – conventional and addressable call points with covers (including IP67), loop isolators, remote indicators, reset keys and a flame detector swivel bracket.
• OWL graphical software – online and offline licences for one panel, 2 to 5 panels or 6 or more panels.

Choosing a GFE system

• Size – ORION conventional panels suit small buildings; the G-ONE is a non-expandable 1-loop panel; GEKKO and OCTO+ accept Chameleon loop cards, with OCTO+ available with up to four loops.
• Expansion – Chameleon loop cards add loops to GEKKO, OCTO+ and NODE+ panels, and RS422 cards network panels and repeaters.
• Finish – many panels, detectors, bases and sounders are available in black for design-led interiors.
• Environment – choose IP65 sounders and IP67 call points for outdoor or wet areas.

What is the difference between GEKKO and OCTO+?

Both are GFE addressable panels that accept Chameleon loop cards. GEKKO is offered as 0-loop and 2-loop panels, while OCTO+ comes as a 2-loop or 4-loop panel and can take an internal printer.

Are ZEOS detectors addressable?

ZEOS comes in both addressable and conventional versions, so check the part code (AD for addressable, C for conventional).

What is GFE OWL?

OWL is GFE's graphical software for viewing and managing panels, licensed by the number of panels, with online and offline options.
