The C-TEC BF560-24 is a 24V 1.5A switch mode/digital hybrid power supply in a PVC enclosure, certified to EN54-4/A2 by the LPCB and VdS. It houses two 12V batteries of up to 3.2Ah and can be surface or flush mounted without a bezel. It is ideal for powering beam detectors, auto-dial communicators, aspirating smoke detectors, auto-open vent systems, auxiliary sounder systems or any other device performing a mandatory function of a fire alarm system.
Key features
- Certified to EN54-4/A2 by the LPCB and VdS
- Plastic cover on the PSU PCB guards against touching live parts
- Single-pole volt-free changeover relay that switches on any fault condition
- Supply present, general fault, fault type and auxiliary equipment fault indicators
- Two selectable battery charge currents
- Battery resistance monitoring to EN54-4/A2; fault impedance limits can be optimised to suit the load current
- Mains fail simulation mode
- On-board temperature sensor, with an optional BF322 remote battery temperature sensor
- Can be customised with a BF423 configurator and PC (changing parameters takes the PSU outside the scope of EN54-4)
- Electronic functions comply with EN50131-6 grades 1-4 for security applications
- BF560-24/E caged and BF560-24/C PCB-only versions available
