The Rutland Responder 24 (ETS.18314.PNP) is a 24V DC electromagnetic door closer in a polished nickel plate finish. It offers both hold-open and swing-free modes. When the fire alarm activates, or the manual switch is used, the electromagnet releases and the door closes in a controlled way.
It is fully universal, with left, right, push and pull fitting available from one box. This suits care homes, where swing-free operation is often needed, as well as high-traffic doors in airports and schools. It is fire tested to EN 1634-1 and should be installed by competent installers in line with BS 7273-4 when connected to a fire alarm system.
