Buying Ziton spares
- Check the system – confirm whether the site runs a ZP3, ZP2 or conventional Ziton system, and match loop devices, bases and cards to it.
- Use the part number – Ziton parts are identified by model codes such as ZP730-2P or A45E-2; quote the code from the existing device.
- Pick the right heat detector – weatherproof heat detectors are available in several fixed temperatures; choose one above the normal ambient temperature of the area.
- Green or red call points – red call points raise a fire alarm; green units are normally used for door release.
