The Eaton EF-CBD130 is a conventional reflective optical beam smoke detector for use with the Eaton range of conventional fire alarm systems. It works on the principle of infrared beam obscuration: the detector sends an infrared beam to a reflector and signals the fire panel, through its fire and fault relays, when smoke obscures the beam.
It is ideal for high ceilings and wide open areas such as warehouses, large stores, shopping centres, leisure centres, exhibition halls, hotel lobbies, museums and prisons. A built-in laser pointer marks the exact position for the reflector, and a digital display shows the received signal strength so alignment is quick and accurate. It is certified to EN 54-12:2015 and LPCB listed.
