The Eaton FL-RL-R-S is a conventional xenon sounder indicator: a combined sounder and xenon beacon in one red housing on a shallow base, for use with conventional fire alarm systems. Having the audible and visual warning in one device needs only a single installation point, which reduces installation costs and is less obtrusive than two separate devices.
It is preset to tone 3, with 32 tones available, and synchronises automatically with other sounders. Please note: Eaton states that this indicator does not meet EN 54-23, the beacon standard that became mandatory under the Construction Products Regulation, so an EN 54-23 certified VAD should be used where that standard applies.
