The Global Fire Equipment ORION-4 is a 4-zone conventional fire alarm control panel in a modern ABS housing. It is the 4-zone model in the ORION range, which also comes in 2-zone and 8-zone versions, and suits smaller installations.
It was designed and made to meet EN 54 parts 2 and 4. Active end-of-line monitoring gives the head-removal protection that BS 5839 requires, provided the detector bases are fitted with diodes. It works with conventional detectors such as the GFE ZEOS-C range.
Key features
- 4 conventional detection zones, up to 32 devices per zone
- Active end-of-line monitoring (10 µF/50 V bipolar capacitor) for BS 5839 head-removal compliance
- Programmable zone coincidence and alarm delay timer (0 to 10 min) to help reduce false alarms
- One-man test facility for quick commissioning and maintenance testing
- Two sounder circuits (S1 and S2) plus RM output
- Fire (COM-NC-NO) and fault (COM-NC) auxiliary relays
- Non-latching, voltage-free evacuate and reset inputs
