The Nittan EV-HIOP-BCN-SCI (part no. F16-82055) is an analogue addressable high output beacon for Nittan Evolution fire alarm systems. It is a Type B outdoor visual alarm device rated IP65, using a single high-power LED, with a built-in short circuit isolator on the -ve line.
It uses the Evolution FSK signalling protocol and is EEPROM addressed with a programmer. Nittan certifies the beacon to EN 54-23, with ratings of W 2.4-5.5 / 73 m³ and W 2.4-7.5 / 135 m³.
Nittan notes that +ve and -ve isolator styles cannot be mixed on one system, so check panel compatibility with Nittan technical support before specifying.
