The Xtralis VESDA-E VES-A10-P is the VESDA-E VES sector-addressable aspirating smoke detector with a 3.5" display, in a plastic enclosure. A valve mechanism in the inlet manifold lets a single zone be divided into four sectors (pipes), so the source of smoke can be located – for example, a particular aisle in a data room.
When smoke reaches the adaptive scan threshold, the VES scans each sector and reports the First Alarm Sector, then continues to monitor all four sectors to track fire growth. It is backward compatible with VESDA VLS mounting, pipe and wiring positions and with VESDAnet, and is supported by ASPIRE and Xtralis VSC software.
