The Xtralis VSP-877-B is a black flush mount sampling point (head only) for Xtralis aspirating smoke detection (ASD) pipe networks. It is a neater, easier-to-fit alternative to the conical sampling point: it installs from one side of the ceiling and accepts 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm capillary tubing.
Key features
- Suitable for all Xtralis aspirating smoke detectors
- Wing-lock design allows installation from below the ceiling, ideal for fixed ceilings with no access above
- Adjustable wing-lock height suits different ceiling panel thicknesses
- Push-fit connection for capillary tubing
- Standard 2 mm pilot sampling hole can be drilled out up to 5 mm to suit ASPIRE design calculations
- Tapered sampling hole helps resist clogging
- Snap-fit fascia conceals the sampling hole and removes easily for cleaning
- Carries the text "XTRALIS FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM – DO NOT PAINT" in line with codes and standards
- RoHS/REACH compliant
