The Xtralis VESDA Sensepoint XCL (XCL-VEA-H2-RM) is an aspirated hydrogen (H2) gas detector for the VESDA-E VEA micro bore aspirating smoke detection system, with Modbus RTU output and relays. Fitted in-line with the VEA microbore tubes, it adds early warning of gas to the fire protection provided by the VEA, for occupant protection and system monitoring.
Key features
- Hydrogen (H2) sensor, 1000 ppm
- Modbus RTU output plus 2 programmable relays
- Inserted in-line in the VEA microbore tube network, sampling remotely up to 100 m away
- Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) interface for set-up and maintenance with the Sensepoint app on a smart device
- Integral alarm status LEDs; factory calibrated
- Integrates with PLCs, HVAC, BMS and fire alarm control panels
- Field-replaceable sensor cartridge
- Modbus version can be monitored in Xtralis VSC and VSM4, and networked to the Sensepoint 301C gas controller for extra relays
