The Cameo Orbital RS8 (ORB/L/RS8/OLED/F) is an 8-way combined disabled refuge and disabled toilet alarm system (emergency voice communication system) in a stainless steel flush enclosure with black screen print and a glazed, lockable door. The master panel can answer or call out to each refuge location, and once connected a clear full duplex audio conversation takes place; the call is ended by replacing the master handset.
A built-in alphanumeric blue OLED screen shows the disabled refuge zone description and indicates up to 32 disabled toilet alarm zones. Outstations can be radially wired in 2-core 1.5mm enhanced fire-rated cable or loop wired in 4-core 1.5mm enhanced fire-rated cable; this version is loop wired. It is fully compliant with BS 5839-9 and is supplied with batteries.
