The Dycon D2403-A is a 24V DC 3A switched-mode power supply in a compact A-box housing, designed for powering magnetic fire door retainers and door releases, as well as access control and general 24V DC applications. Its output is designed for highly inductive loads such as door retainers, eliminating the need for additional control relays and reducing the risk of electrical spikes. A normally closed volt-free opto-relay output lets the unit signal its status to a fire alarm panel or other signalling device. Designed and manufactured in the UK by Dycon Power Solutions.
