The Eaton Cooper MRIAD is an intelligent addressable, loop-connected remote indicator for Eaton intelligent addressable fire alarm systems. It gives discreet remote indication controlled by the fire panel, and a single indicator can monitor several detectors in an area, which reduces wiring.
It connects directly to the loop, is soft addressed by the panel at start-up and has integral short-circuit isolators. In Site Installer it is programmed as an address output (sounder), so it can be driven by the cause and effect tables: continuous or pulsing, by global, panel, zone or address, or on a double-knock input. It is an indicator only, not a visual alarm device.
