The Edwards 12V40A is a 12 V rechargeable sealed lead-acid battery listed by Edwards for secondary (standby) power on the Edwards EST4 life safety control platform (EN54 version). Battery size is chosen according to the load of the installation and the standby time required. EST4 cabinets have room for batteries up to 65 Ah, and where the batteries needed exceed what the panel can hold, BC-1 series (24 to 40 Ah) or 3-RCC series (up to 65 Ah) battery cabinets can be used.
