The FFE Fireray 3000 Anti-Condensation Heater (3000-204) is a fan heater for the Fireray 3000 end-to-end beam smoke detector. Condensation on the lenses of an optical beam detector can cause false fire activations; the heater reduces this risk by keeping the detector lens warmer than the surrounding air.
To save power, FFE advises switching the heater off when condensation is not expected. The beam detector must be realigned after the heater bracket is installed.
Key features
- Keeps the detector lens above ambient temperature to reduce condensation
- Fan-assisted heater
- Several heaters can be wired from the same 24 V supply
- Listed by FFE as a Fireray 3000 accessory
