The Global Fire Equipment VULCAN 2 ASBI is an addressable base sounder beacon with a built-in loop isolator. It is a detector base that gives both an audible and a visual alarm, for GFE addressable fire alarm panels such as the G-One, GEKKO and OCTO+.
It can be set up in the field as a shadow device, with no address of its own so more addresses are free for detectors, or as an auxiliary device that shares the address of the detector fitted on it. Addresses are set with DIP switches.
