The Hochiki DFJ-CE3(WHT) is a conventional 90 °C fixed-temperature heat detector in a white case, from the Hochiki CDX range. It uses a thermistor and linearising circuit for an accurate linear response, and a third terminal provides a remote indicator output. It suits areas with medium ambient temperatures, such as drying rooms, and places where smoke detectors are unsuitable because of steam or cooking fumes, such as kitchens.
