The System Sensor 5601P is a single-circuit mechanical heat detector in a plain housing, combining a 135°F (57°C) fixed-temperature element with a rate-of-rise element. It is part of System Sensor's 5600 series, intended as a low-cost means of property protection and for non-life-safety installations where smoke detectors are not appropriate. The 5600 series is listed to UL 521, and the 5601P has a normally open contact for connection to a compatible fire alarm or signalling circuit.
