The System Sensor RTS151KIT is a surface-mounted key-operated test and reset station for System Sensor beam smoke detectors, including the OSI-RE-SS OSID reflective imaging beam detector. It lets the detector be tested and reset remotely from ground level.
Turning the key to test makes the detector reduce its transmitted infrared power below the automatically set alarm level, producing an alarm for as long as the key is held. The reset position clears the latched alarm. Local regulations may still require a test filter to be used in the beam path.
Key features
- Remote test: the detector reduces its transmitted power below the alarm level, producing an alarm for as long as the key is held in the test position
- Remote reset of a latched alarm from the reset position
- Green and red LEDs mimic the LEDs on the detector
- During test, the remote fault LED blinks out the detector's set sensitivity
- Listed accessory for the System Sensor OSI-RE-SS reflective imaging beam detector
- Surface mount version
Technical specifications
