The Zeta Fyreye MKII-OP is a conventional optical smoke detector (EN 54-7) for use on conventional fire alarm zones. It uses a pulsing IR LED and photodiode to detect infra-red light scattered by smoke entering the chamber. It is particularly suited to detecting optically dense smoke from materials such as soft furnishings, PVC, plastics and foam.
