Shop fire alarm interface modules, loop isolators, input/output units, zone monitors, relays and intrinsically safe barriers for addressable, conventional and wireless fire alarm systems. They let your panel monitor and control plant, doors, dampers, sprinklers and other building systems.
Interface modules and isolators we stock
- Input/output modules: addressable input, output and combined I/O units such as the Apollo XP95 I/O unit with isolator and Apollo Intelligent I/O module, the Notifier M701E output module, Hochiki CHQ modules, Edwards Signature modules and Kidde Excellence units.
- Zone monitors: units that connect conventional detector zones to an addressable loop, such as the Hochiki Dual Zone Monitor with SCI.
- Loop and short-circuit isolators: including the Apollo 55000-720APO isolator and Advanced LVMX100, plus modules with built-in isolators.
- Fire alarm relays: 24V and mains-rated relay units from HAES (for example the BRF248A-R boxed relay), C-TEC, Fike and Eaton.
- IS barriers: galvanic and shunt diode barriers such as the Apollo XP95 I.S. galvanic barrier and Hochiki Z787.
- Wireless and domestic interfaces: EMS, Apollo REACH and Electro Detectors wireless I/O, plus Aico and FireAngel relay and switched input modules.
Shop by brand: Apollo, Hochiki, Notifier, Advanced, Edwards, Zeta and FireClass.
How to choose
- Match the protocol: addressable modules must suit your panel's protocol, such as Apollo XP95, Hochiki ESP or Notifier.
- Input, output or both: inputs monitor contacts such as sprinkler flow switches; outputs switch or signal plant, door holders and dampers.
- Check contact ratings: use a mains-rated module or relay when switching 230V loads.
- Plan isolation: fit isolators, or modules with built-in isolators, so a short circuit only affects a small section of the loop.
- Mounting: choose boxed, DIN-rail or flush versions, and add the correct back box or enclosure.

Fire alarm interface FAQs
What is a fire alarm interface?
A fire alarm interface is a module that connects the fire alarm system to other equipment, monitoring inputs such as switches and controlling outputs such as relays, sounder circuits or plant shutdown.
What does a loop isolator do?
A loop isolator disconnects the section of an addressable loop where a short circuit occurs, so devices on the rest of the loop keep working.
What is an IS barrier?
An intrinsically safe (IS) barrier limits the energy that can reach devices in a hazardous area. Use the barrier specified for your detectors and system.
Can I use any interface module with my panel?
No. Addressable modules only work with panels that use the same protocol, so check compatibility with the panel manufacturer before ordering.
