Hikvision ColorVu Cameras

Hikvision ColorVu cameras are designed to record colour images in low-light conditions, where standard infrared cameras switch to black and white. They combine a wide-aperture lens and a sensitive sensor with supplementary white light. JEM Systems UK supplies the range to installers and trade customers across the UK.

The ColorVu range

• Styles: fixed and motorised varifocal turret, bullet, mini bullet and dome models.
• Resolutions: from 3K and 4MP up to 8MP (4K), in IP network and Turbo HD versions, including PoC models for coax installations.
• Smart Hybrid Light: models that can switch between IR and white light, with options such as built-in microphone and PIR siren.
• Panoramic: wide-view ColorVu cameras that cover larger areas with a single unit.

Choosing a ColorVu camera

Colour at night helps with identifying clothing and vehicle colours, but the supplementary light means the camera is more visible after dark. Match the lens and resolution to the distance you need to cover, and pair IP models with a PoE Hikvision NVR.
