Hikvision DarkFighter Cameras

Hikvision DarkFighter is the manufacturer's low-light technology, combining a large-aperture lens with a high-sensitivity sensor to capture usable images when light is poor. This collection lists the Hikvision cameras described as DarkFighter available from JEM Systems UK.

What DarkFighter is for

DarkFighter suits car parks, yards, warehouses, streets and other sites with limited lighting. In very dark scenes the camera typically switches to black and white with infrared illumination. If you want colour images in low light, compare the Hikvision ColorVu range, which uses a different approach.

Camera styles

The range includes fixed turret and bullet cameras, motorised varifocal models for adjustable framing, and PTZ speed domes with long optical zoom. Resolutions run from 2MP to 16MP, and many models add AcuSense analytics that classify people and vehicles to help reduce false alarms. Check the product page for the lens, IR range and IP rating.

Recording

IP cameras need a compatible NVR or PoE switch to record and power them. See NVR and DVR recorders and Hikvision PoE switches.
