Hikvision NVR Recorders

Hikvision NVRs (network video recorders) record and manage footage from IP cameras over your network. This range at JEM Systems UK covers compact 4 and 8 channel recorders for homes and small shops, through to 16, 32, 64 and 128 channel models for larger sites, supplied for installers and trade customers across the UK.

Choosing a Hikvision NVR

• Channels: pick a recorder with spare channels so you can add cameras later.
• PoE or non-PoE: PoE models power compatible cameras through the same network cable, which can simplify installation. Non-PoE models suit systems that use a separate PoE switch.
• Resolution and analytics: K Series AcuSense 4K models suit most projects, while higher-end ranges handle 8K and more advanced analytics.
• Storage: check the number of hard drive bays and size capacity for the retention period you need.
