The Hispec HSSA/VAPE is a smart vape detector that uses a PM2.5 laser-scattering sensor to detect vaping and smoking activity. It connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and works with the Tuya Smart app, giving real-time monitoring and remote alarm notifications to phones or tablets, which makes it well suited to schools, offices, washrooms and other spaces where vaping must be monitored. It is powered from the mains via the supplied plug adaptor and USB-C cable, and can be wall or ceiling mounted.
