Compatibility notes
- Syncro AS panels and loop cards are protocol-specific. Match them to your devices: Apollo, Hochiki ESP or Argus Vega.
- A 1-2 loop Syncro AS panel supplied with one loop card takes a second through a loop expansion card, such as the K586A (Apollo) or K586H (Hochiki).
- Power supplies and battery boxes come in Sigma CP/XT or Syncro styling to match the panel cabinet.

Kentec FAQs
What is the difference between Kentec Sigma CP and Syncro?
Sigma CP panels are conventional, with detection split into 2 to 8 zones. Syncro AS panels are analogue addressable, so each device on the loop is identified individually.
Which detector protocols do Kentec Syncro panels support?
We stock Syncro AS and Syncro AS Lite in Apollo, Hochiki and Argus Vega versions, and Syncro XT+ in Apollo and Hochiki versions. Order the version that matches your devices.
What is a Kentec Sigma XT panel used for?
Sigma XT panels control automatic extinguishing systems. They detect fire in a protected area, then manage the warning, hold-off and release of the extinguishant, with status units outside the protected area.
What is the difference between Syncro AS and Syncro AS Lite?
Syncro AS Lite is a single loop panel. The standard Syncro AS comes in 1 and 2 loop versions for sites that need more devices.
