The Kentec K586A is a loop expansion card for the Apollo protocol (S90, XP95 and Discovery). It adds a second detection loop to a single-loop Kentec Syncro AS analogue addressable fire alarm control panel.
Kentec specifies that an additional loop card must use the same protocol as the panel's existing loop. Loop expansion is not available on the Syncro AS Lite. With two Apollo loops, the panel supports up to 252 devices.
