It uses an optical sensor for smoke and an electrochemical sensor for CO, with different alarm sounds and indicator lights so you can tell which danger is present. It is ideal for bedrooms and living areas, and can be installed alongside further units and a kitchen heat alarm for complete protection. It is a standalone alarm and does not interconnect.
