The FireAngel HW1-PF-T is a 230V mains powered heat alarm with a replaceable 9V battery back-up and a Push-Fit base. Its thermistor sensor gives Class A2 heat detection (54°C to 70°C), making it suitable for kitchens, lofts and garages where smoke alarms are not recommended; BS 5839-6 recommends a heat alarm for a kitchen.
The Push-Fit base is wired to the mains at first fix, and the alarm simply pushes onto it at second fix. Up to 12 FireAngel SW1-PF-T smoke, HW1-PF-T heat and CW1-PF-T CO alarms can be hardwire interlinked, so when one sounds they all sound; the RF-BW-T base adds wireless interlink.
