The Apollo 55000-295APO XP95 Exd Flame Detector (IR2) is a flameproof, addressable infra-red flame detector for hazardous areas in indoor applications. Two sensors respond to different IR wavelengths to tell real flames from spurious sources of radiation. It is XP95 native and Discovery compatible, BASEEFA approved and meets the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.
Key features
- ATEX certified II 2 G D; CENELEC/IEC certified EEx d IIC T4 for Zones 1, 21, 2 and 22
- Sensitive to flickering IR radiation, including flames invisible to the naked eye
- Detects through films of oil, dust, water and ice
- High optical interference immunity
- Remote optical self-test function
- 90° field of view and up to 40m coverage
